The Air Showers (personnel) from Weiber are fully self-contained units, designed to provide complete decontamination solutions for various clean room applications. They are ideally installed at the entrance of a clean room or controlled environment chamber to minimize the entry of dust and particulate matters inside the clean room via the clothes and skin surfaces of the personnel. Our air showers feature programmable operating modes for flexible application and microprocessor based controller for precise supervision of the operating parameters. They use highly efficient pre-filters and HEPA filters for maintaining highly sterile working environments and an integrated fan/blower assembly to provide high velocity air streams for maximum scrubbing action against dust and particulate matters adherent on the exposed skin, clothes and material surfaces.


3 types of configurations are available:


One side flow: The unit allows one-way operation, with the clean side door locked and the grey side door unlocked at the idle state. This mode of operation helps in controlling the flow of traffic in and out of the clean room for maintaining maximum sterility in the working area.

Two side flow: The unit allows both side flows, allowing the air showers to be activated in both the directions. The user can exit through the clean room door or the grey side door, without compromising the sanctity of the clean air environment. This mode of operation prevents the egress of harmful contaminants from the clean room to the outside environment, making the unit particularly useful in pharmaceutical industries, animal research laboratories and other applications that require working with harmful and biohazardous substances.

Tower flow: the flow is from the upper roof of the shower.


The fully automatic operation prevents the need for manual switching on/off of the air shower cycle and the shower time, providing an unmatched ease of use. The incorporated safety features such as magnetically operated interlocked doors, the auto reset feature and an array of alarms and LED indicators for actual and set parameters prevent accidental lockouts and ensure smooth functioning of the unit.

  1. Air is forced by the blower(s) through HEPA filter(s) which are 99.99% efficient against particles of 0.3 microns.
  2. Filtered air is ejected through nozzles at high velocities . These turbulent air streams disperse particulate matter on all surfaces.
  3. Dispersed particulate matter migrate with the air stream towards the lower areas in the air shower.
  4. Air enters the blower supply plenum through pre-filter(s) installed at the base of the air shower. The air is continuously filtered and recirculated. The air shower is a selfcontained device and does not exchange air with the environment it is placed in.

Light Indicator and Emergency Switch: Indicator lamps indicate if doors are locked or unlocked, thereby regulating the flow of personnel in and out of the air shower. Emergency buttons mounted on both external faces of the shower unlocks all doors instantly


Door: Heavy-duty, durable aluminium framed door assemblies are constructed with glass windows permitting visibility

Microprocessor Control System: The microprocessor control detects improper operation and displays corresponding error messages should the integrity of the cleanroom be violated. The LCD displays shower duration and countdown, and reports cycle progress and operational status. A 24 hour clock displays local time.

Light Diffuser: Diffusers ensure even and uniform lighting throughout the air shower.

Stainless Steel Nozzles: An array of stainless steel nozzles direct high-velocity jets within the air shower.

Outer body: air showers are constructed out of industrial grade stainless steel sheets of grade ss-304/ss-316. The internal cubicle of air showers are plastic laminated and attractively finished. The unit is provided with blower access panel at the side of the shower. The two doors/one door system provided on the either side of the air shower are inter locked and operate on magnetic system.


Filter assembly: HEPA filter and pre-filter assembly is mounted on the top of the air shower. The unit is controlled through a programmable solid state circuit control system, located at the junction box of the unit. This control unit facilitates the user to adjust the air nozzles and operation time. The operation timer of the

air shower can be adjusted from 0-9,990 seconds, depending on various standard and customized requirements.
air shower are fitted with fully washable synthetic pre-filter units and secondary high efficiency perfect air filters made of mini pleated non woven fabric. The efficiency of our filters has a rating better than 99.99% at DOP (cold) and 99.97% at DOP (Hot). Our units have the capacity to hold all suspended particles of size greater than 0.3 micron.


The junction box: it is a tamper proof enclosure that ensures that the pre-set range or value is maintained. It is also provided with an emergency setting button to switch off the unit with audio visual alarm. The sequential operation of our air shower is operated through floor matting operated switch.


Illumination: Our air shower has adequate lighting arrangement and ensures a minimum illumination level of 800 Lux.


Motor And Blower Assembly:
All our air shower are provided with perfectly balanced (Static as well as dynamic) motor and blower motors bearing ISI mark. The rating of the assembly is 1/5 HP. Our high efficiency pumps which have life long lubricated bearings ensure a trouble free operation for a long time.
