NITROGEN EVAPORATION BATH

WEIBER nitrogen evaporators (water bath type) are typically used “to concentrate samples before analysis or to concentrate samples before a solvent exchange.When a scientist needs to concentrate a sample that’s in a volatile liquid—like acetone, acetonitrile, or methanol—a nitrogen evaporator can do the job. As a result, scientists use this technology in sample preparation in environmental, polymer science, quality control, and toxicology labs etc.Our nitrogen evaporators utilize adjustable nitrogen blow down technology allowing full control of nitrogen flow to samples, with no wasted nitrogen gas. We combined this technology with uniform efficient heat applied through water baths. This simultaneously maximizes solvent evaporation in the samples being concentrated and saves the lab money.

The 24 position WEIBER nitrogen evaporator is our most adaptable version but we can customize it to 6/12/34/50 positions as per the requirement.

  • Can accommodate samples with an outside diameter of 10-30 mm.
  • Provides controlled concentration of sample vials through the application of nitrogen gas within a heated water bath.
  • The dual band spring hoist assembly provides a simple and effective means of removing samples from the heated water bath.
  • Circular rotating design permits each sample to be accessible from the front of the instrument for easy insertion and retrieval.

Nitrogen evaporator are double walled convection heated units. Outer body are constructed out of thick MS sheet duly pre-treated with primers for rust proofing and painted with air drying paint/stove enamel/powder coating. The inside chamber of the unit is made of heavy gauge stainless steel sheet of grade ss-304.

Temperature Range:

Temperature range of our standard water bath models are 30o c to 90o c. However we have the capacity to modify the same to suit the individual specialized requirements of our customers.

Temperature Sensitivity:

Temperature inside our water bath is controlled with a sensitivity of + 1o c or better.
