WEIBER manufactures and exports wide array of Block Ice Machine to meet customer’s freezing requirement. The biggest feature of Automatic Ice Block Machine is; no need salty water for large-scale ice blocks and other cooling medium during the freezing period. When the ice formed, they drop into the special ice contact convey device. The whole course of ice forming is sanitary and clean. Machine adopts the heat gas harvesting ice technology, direct heat expansion, heating exchanging technology, making the product performance better.

  • Corrosion Resistant interior and exteriors-Corrosion resistant coatings like epoxy coatings are applied inside and outside the machine to prevent against degradation due to moisture, salt spray, oxidation or exposure to a variety of environmental or industrial chemicals/ corrosive agents.

All refrigeration equipments are made of four key components; the evaporator, the condenser, the compressor and the throttle valve. Ice machines all work the same way. The function of compressor is to compress low-pressure refrigerant vapor to high-pressure vapor, and deliver it to the condenser. Here, the high-pressure vapor is condensed into high-pressure liquid, and drained out through the throttle valve to become low-pressure liquid. At this point, the liquid is conducted to the evaporator, where heat exchanging occurs, and ice is created.

Weiber Block Ice Machines are double walled cooled units. Outer body are constructed out of thick PCRC, pre coated corrosion resistant GI sheet duly pre-treated with primers and rust proofing and painted with long lasting stove enamel or elegantly powder coated. The inner construction is made of stainless steel sheet-304.
Insulation is non-CFC polyurethane foam, bonded to shell and liner for added strength.


Cooling:

An energy efficient cooling unit is installed in our machines. We use high end CFC free compressors of Kirloskar/Tecumseh / Bitzer/ Danfoss make, conforming to latest international standards and guidelines.

Temperature from 5 to -20°C can be achieved by using R-134A.
